Did we see Cloverdung performing at the Fishing Bear?

Is Kavis the leader of the Dwarfs in Dillhole?

The party finds the Fishing Bear in Wyntbridge welcoming and excited that the party has returned.  There is a grand table with the players names engraved in gold leaf and permanently reserved.  The neighbors to the Inn have strangely sold their places to the Bear so that it can now expand.  Dillhole has become a nicely fortified town with Hobbits, Dwarfs, and Gnomes, as well as the Otters as inhabitants.  High Priest Peat has built a nice stone temple to Ager that suspiciously looks to have come from the “in progress” temple in Wyntbridge.  Hammar has found out that his temple walls have been built three times but have not gotten any closer to finishing his temple.  Bone found a nice appreciation gift from the residents in Dillhole for his protection.

While the party was at the Fishing Bear eating dinner and drinking Pike comes up fully armed with his wagon hauling several kegs of cider and scotch.  As he delivers the kegs he sees the party he diverts one of the kegs to the table that the partyin is sitting. He tells them that we have to do something as that some Gnolls have attacked his neighbors and burned down part of his Orchard. The party finishes off the Keg and heads out.  Pike is now a little drunk so he tells them to go on without him.  Talin and Hammar tries to take Pike’s wagon but the mules will not budge.  So they head out on foot.  Bone is carrying Othello and Talin is carrying Gublika as the are drunk as well.  Hammar is riding his new Black riding Bear.  The party starts singing Dwarven drinking songs as they head out.  With Gublika shooting a magic missile off every now and then.

The party gets ambushed on the way to Pike’s by a pack of Hyenadon.  One takes Othello off Bone’s shoulder. Othello starts yelling ‘Commanders Strike’ in Dwarven but he does not speak Dwarven so it sounds like Sally Bites.  One take Gubikla off Talin’s.  Two attack Hammar and knock him down. One goes up agains Talin and one goes up against Bone.  Othello shoots a lightning bolt at the one that grabbed him.  It also hits Bone and the Hyenadon attacking him.  Bone attacks the one near him.  Gubikla cast a fireball in the mouth of the Hyenadon that grabbed him.  This takes out the one near him and the one near Bone.  Hammar and Talin takon the ones near them.  Bone finishes off the one near Othello.  Othello creates a nice fountain of puke as the half digested human parts spew all over Othello.  Gublika shoots one near Hammar. Talin finishes off the one near him and starts attacking the one Gublika shot near Hammar.  Hammar and his riding bear finish off the one.  Othello manages to get a shot off and finishes off the last one.

Othello finds that the Hyenadon tracks came from the west of Pike’s place so the party the party heads off that direction. Othello is sobering up now that he has puked up most of the alcohol.  A little while longer and Talin claims to have seen someone on a broom.  Othello searches the syke and turns around to tell Talin he is seeing things when he see them coming up behind them and then does a sharp pull up as a fireball goes off around the party.  Othello tries to shoot the broom rider but misses.  Gublika shoots a extended flame bolts and hits them.  As it is out of normal rage for Hammar he pulls out his Lighting jar and shoots that and the rider and broom go explode in a cloud of smoke.  Hammar seems to have spotted a ring that fell and manages to grab it.  It is a little hot and sears his hand because of the heat.  But it looks like a curled serpent.  Talin and Othello see a pouch fall.  Othello activates his dagger of treasure sens thinking that will give him advantage on finding it. But Talin manages to keep an eye on it as if falls through the trees and catches it, as it bounces of a limb or two.

The party head on and finds a burnt out house and several Gnoll around it talking with a couple of land schooners near by.  Hammar and the others take a short rest while Othello keeps a lookout.  His hatred for Gnolls draws him into gether information.  He overhears one telling the others to get back to the ship as ‘she’ will be back any time now and they should be set to attack Wyntbridge at dawn. Othello remembers that they had some explosive barrels on the boats so he goes and sneaks on board the smaller boat and finds a barrel below deck.  He has trouble lighting it, but finds it lite without knowing it at first.  He manages a narrow escape.  The schooner blows up and causes a small fire on the larger ship.  The Gnolls are running around trying to figure out what is going on.  Othello meets the party rushing toward the ships and says the other one is theirs.  Talin runs up and Earth Reavers several.  Hammar calls down a flame strike on the deck checking four in the blast.  But it also goes through the deck and causes the explosive barrels on that boat to explode.  Causing a massive shock wave, a fiery blast, followed by piercing debris.  Talin is stunned and seared.  While Hammar gets knocked out as he is blown backwards and pierced by the flying debris of what is left of the ship.  He lands close to where Othello had retreated to so he goes over and feeds him a healing potion to revive him.  The party then goes back to town with a mission accomplished and the town saved once again.

COD = Hammar for blowing up the ship and himself in the process.
