Adventure 90 – Dwarf in a Hamster ball

Is Cloverdung in seducing the witches flying over Wyntbridge?  

Has Kavis gone after a schooner (land ship)?

The Party takes a short rest and Othello scouts ahead and finds the tracks of the giant.  The party starts following the tracks and notices that the tracks look like the giant became lighter.  So looking around reveals a large sack hung up in a tree.  Talin pulls out a throwing axe and slices the rope holding it up.  It crashes to the ground and sounds like porcelain shattering.  Othello runs up and unties the sack and finds several large egg shaped object and lots of fragments of broken objects.  About a dozen blue centipede looking creatures crawl out of the sack and attack the party.  These creatures turned out to be known as Remorhaz. Talin cut the first one in half but is spewed lava like substance as it died, causing heat damage.  Gubikla blast one that was attached to his arm.  He still has one attached to his leg that Talin eventually comes and helps out with.  Bone slices through several of them and realizes that the fire from his sword is not doing any damage but physical damage still seems to work.  Othello Thunder Strikes three of them throwing them back about 50 feet.  Where they run off.  After killing off the last few, the party investigates the sack more and finds a dozen porcelain eggs left in the sack.  Gubikla rubs some type of ointment on the sack and it become weightless.

Talin picks ups the sack and the party heads off following the tracks with Othello scouting head again.  At some point the party members wander off on their own and have to regroup before heading out again.  Othello finds that the tracks lead to a giant camp where three Frost Giants are talking around a fire.  He also sees one Winter Wolf under a tree.  He goes back and reports this to the party to come up with a plan.  

Othello activates his Tesor’s floating disc and Bone gets on in.  Othello then uses one of his wands and turns Bone invisible.  He then shoots a bolt across the camp and blinks about 30 feet high into a tree.  Throws his spinning contraption into the middle of the camp.  Covering them in flammable liquid.  Unfortunately he did not manage to hit a branch and falls to the ground landing on his feet but making a large boom as his boots go off.  Meanwhile Gubikla had cast Resilient Sphere around Talin and Dimensioned Door himself and Talin into the tree Othello was aiming for.  Talin falls and then gets pushed down into the camp from Othello’s boots activation.  As soon as Talin makes it to the center of the three giants he commander’s strike Gubikla who activates his haste boots and cast Two Fire Balls on the giants.  Bone jumps off the disc and attacks one of the giants to his surprise.  He is using a black axe instead of his flaming sword.  The sword seems to like giant as it sucks the soul out of the giant and starts humming.  One giant attacks Talin but gets frustrated because of the sphere and throws the sphere instead.  One of the Winter Wolf chases the sphere.  Othello is avoiding one of the Wolf’s frost breath and shoots a lightning bolt from a wand and take out both ankles of the giant in front of him that chopped down the tree that Gublika was in.  Othello says “I might be a ankle biter to you but you have no ankles!”  Gubikla thinks he is pinned underneath the tree, so he starts shooting spells through his crystal ball at the giants and winter wolfs.  Due to the fall the Resilient Sphere vanished.  Eventually the party manages kill off the last of the wolfs.  The party finds a map that looks to be a battle plan to attack Wyntbridge.
