Tracking wanted men became second nature to the ranger as he moved from place to place. [details]
cloverdung

Cloverdung seems to have visions when he gains a level:
Level 1 – Before heading out to adventure in the area of Wyntbridge, he remembered his parents being killed by hogs.
Level 2 – He remembers sitting on the top of a hill, overlooking the fields were his parents were working the land. Suddenly, from out of the clouds swooped down two large hogs and killed his parents.
Level 3 – He remembers being in a crib with bars while on the hill watching his parents get killed by the flying hogs. Maybe it was a cage, not a crib.
Level 4 – Recollection of fire and heat, seemed like the hogs were spitting fire as they swooped overhead.
Level 5 – After seeing a dragon up close, Cloverdung finally realizes that the creatures that killed his parents were not hogs breathing fire, but rather dragons.
Level 6 – Convinced he was not in a crib, but rather a cage, when he was taken from his parents as a baby by a band of pirates.
Level 7 – Cloverdung now realizes there was not a mirror next to his cage, it was in fact his twin brother, Gladstik, in an adjacent cage.
Level 8 – Cloverdung recalls the pirate ship that took him away, ‘Black Keel’

Since leaving the adventuring world, there are only three things to bring Cloverdung out of his tavern, T&A:
1. A quick visit to Farmer Fred to load up on fresh barrels of apple cider for the tavern
2. Quarterly visits to the Lady of the Lake to “check-up” on her, and to continue training her Owlbear in the ways of keeping her safe (the Owlbear egg Cloverdung gave the Lady years ago has grown into a great protector, his name is Dandelion)
3. Whenever Cloverdung feels like it, he will enter Hammar’s Temple via the secret door added during construction by the builder (bribe really) and leave ‘presents’ for Hammar. That turd in Hammar’s chalice on the altar? Yes, that was Cloverdung.
