He is the scottish dwarf, sleeping under the table in the bar of our Inn.

The party wanders into a local shop that deals with coinage and various items for sale. We display a few of the unusual coins we found last time, bronze coins with pyramid printed on it. The shop keeper agrees to try to sell them to investors, 50-50 split on what he gets. The dwarf fighter offers up some unusual bronze ingots, which the shop keeper is quite pleased to see. The bronze is stronger than steela nd resistant to corrosion. In exchange for all the bronze ingots and some bronze weapons, he agrees to craft an item for each of us. Bone chooses a great sword to be made. Kavis requests a battle axe, with monogram. Gubikla requests a belt buckle. Othelo asks for a dagger and a couple of bolts. Cloverdung request a long sword with draconic text reading hog killer. Hammar requests a morning star, with pointy tips. Cloverdung infomrms the steward of the baliff that the party has killed a goblin leader. The head of the goblin is displayed and a reward requested. The steward offers 5 silver. The ranger counters with 6 silver, and asks about getting us badges made that say we are on official baliff business. The steward agress. The ranger also asks to be added to the list so he may use the fairy in town at no charge, and the steward agrees to that as well.

Gubikla, the gnome, picks up his pointy red hat with great pleasure.

The party canvased the various bars seperately, except for Hammar. He was on a date with Squint (barmaid at the Fishing Bear). They went for bingo and beer at one of the local temples. Everyone finally fell into their beds (or floor) and gathered for breakfast the next morning. Rumors were exchanged amongst the party members, except Hammar. He could not remember anything. Fortunately, Squint did and filled us in.

When we started to leave town for our next adventure, a large earthquake shook the town. The damage was severe enough to cause a chimney to fall on Bone and Kavis. Everyone else was okay. Except for the frigtened horse that tried to run away, but was killed by Gubikla. With a frost blast. To it’s head. Ten XP for the gnome.

After heading north a few miles, Cloverdung and Bone notice three hills that appear to be something other than hills. Upon inspection, they turn out to be ancient burial mounds of some type. The rpevious earthquake has shifted the ground and toppled a few large rock-pieces from the ceiling on two of the mounds. The gnome thief hops into the first and quickly scans, sees nothing. The others pile in, followed by the ranger who ties off a rope, for later use. Othelo has disturbed some old bones that were on the alter he landed on. Some party members find treasure-trinkets, while others do not.

The party notices there are two more alters in this domed burial plot and advance to the middle, big one. As Othelo declares no traps or dangers, Bone notices the slab hanging over the top of the alter to be shaky. The golden facemask on the body laying on the alter does not deter Othelo, or Kavis from wanting to investigate further. While this is occuring, the ranger hears the sounds of something approaching from out of the darkness.

As the party prepares for battle, three wights wonder into the light. Two on the right and one on the left. Othelo is the first to strike. Of course, his dagger flings backwards instead of towards the approaching wight. And hits Hammar for some damage. Welcome to the party cleric. Cloverdung fires arrows and does some damage to the wight on the left, but not as much damage as he thought.

Bone advances to attack the two wights on the right, but falls down instead. Thinking he can do better, Kavis advances on the two wights. The dwarf fighter connects with his axe and does some damage. Gubikla fires a frost bolt to add some flash to the battle. The frost bolt misses though. Hammar advances on the wight to the left and attacks with his morning star, doing some damage. Now, the wights get their turn. A wight grasps Hammar, doing some rotting damage, as the undead usually do. The other wights atatck Kavis and connect with a few hits as well.

So, after a round of battle, a couple of party members are damaged more than they would like. Some characters did some damage to the wights, while other characters damaged party members. Perfect.

Hammar freaks about being left with 4 hit points so he touches himself. In front of everyone. To restore some hit points. Kavis retreats to drink a healing potion because he too has been hurt badly. The battle continues on. Frost bolts fly around, arrows fly around, the thief fires some bolts on fire into the wights. At the hieght of the battle, Hammar touches Kavis on the pecker to restore some lost hit points. Finally, the wights are dead, dead, and the party looks for treasure.

After being pecker-touched, Kavis knocks the golden facemask (and head) off of the rotted body on the big alter, only to have the thief pick it up. I am sure Othelo said thank you, but the dwarf did not seeme to like the gratitude. The alter is furter searched with party members finding trinkets, here and there. The rest of the burial mound is searched, but poorly, so the party climbs out to head to the second mound.

A torch is thrown into the opening of the second mound and then the party climbs in, one at a time, into a much smaller mound. Inside the mound are several urns. The party members take turns searching the urns and coming up with some valuable treasure.

As a phone chirps, the party realize the time, so the characters head back to town knowing they almost died from just 3 wights.

Party Members: Hammar – 1st Level Cleric Cloverdung – 2nd Level Ranger Bone – 2nd Level Fighter Kavis – 2nd Level Fighter Othello – 2nd Level Thief Gubikla – 2nd Level Magic User The party finally meets their new cleric, Hammar.
