Did Cloverdung get seduced by one of the dancing girls?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The party enters the large chamber and notices a pile of rubble off to the side. \u00a0Gubikla cast detect magic and notices something small emitting a magical aura in the rubble. \u00a0We investigate the rubble and find that the magical aura is moving around in the rubble. \u00a0Othello braver than he should be goes after it and is able to catch a rime newt. \u00a0As he is trying to figure out what to do with it. He discovers that it is fond of gems. \u00a0The intrigues Othello but also makes it much harder to find a place to keep it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just then the wall opens up and out walks a Dragonborn. \u00a0The party almost attacks the person but realize that the dragonborn is a little shocked about see a group of adventures but is not threatening the party in any way. \u00a0This disappoints Gubikla and as he does not appear to be a douche decides not to fireball him. \u00a0The Dragonborn introduces himself as Pete and he is a Cleric that sent to save a lady. \u00a0The party is like great another Cleric sarcastically due to their experience of how Hammar helped them. \u00a0The party decides that Pete can taglog as we were headed the same direction and Pete said that he was looking for treasure on his quest so we could have anything we found. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the mention of treasure Othello uses his dagger of detect treasure and it points farther into the cavern. \u00a0The party passes by a passageway to the west and head down the southern downward sloping passageway. \u00a0The passageway curves around like a snake and starts going east. \u00a0There are two more passageways that branch of south. \u00a0But Othello\u2019s detect treasure is pointing the party onward. \u00a0The passage way opens up into a wide chamber or hallway. \u00a0There are more stalagmites in this chamber. \u00a0Plus there is a glowing spot near the center of the chamber. \u00a0The party hears noise and want sounds like a voice up the passageway on the other side of the chamber. \u00a0The party heads around the glowing area without getting to close and head to the noise. \u00a0Othello assures the party that is the direction of the treasure. \u00a0As the group gets closer to the noise they come across a prison. \u00a0There is an old man banging against the bars crying for help in one cell and in the other is a half-orc. \u00a0The party negotiates with the people in the cells and finally agree to release them. \u00a0The half-orc introduces himself as <\/span>Mightychondria and agrees to help us in our quest and that way he can get revenge on the people that imprisoned him. \u00a0He quickly dons his equipment and joins the party. \u00a0The old man is thankful but is to scared to try and head out on his own.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The party heads back to the large chamber and Othello curiosity get the better of him and he dives under the glowing area and shoots his thunder stick up at it. \u00a0This causes fiery bats to erupt from the area. The party dispatches the bats quickly once they found that fire does not work against them. \u00a0The injuries are healed by Pete. \u00a0This was our first surprise that clerics can actually heal. \u00a0Pete want to head back to the double passageways headed south that we passed up earlier. \u00a0The party being freshly healed has no problem indulging this new cleric\u2019s request. \u00a0As the party heads down the first southern passageway they start to hear chanting. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The dual southern passageways come together and \u00a0head into a room that is lighted by four fire pits in the corners of the room. \u00a0At the the far end of the room is a statue of some multiarm serpent creature. \u00a0Just in front of the stature is a cultist priest scarifying a lady on a alter. \u00a0To the side of the altar is another lady that is bound. Pete enters the room just as the priest plunges a dagger into the lady on the alter. \u00a0A portal opens up above the altar and creatures start coming out. \u00a0Bone, Mighty, and Loseaturn advance into the room and engage the creature in combat. \u00a0Othello shoots a bolt and teleports to the other side of the room beside the altar. \u00a0The party quickly detect that everything is silent. \u00a0There is no noises or voices from all the room. \u00a0The combat is completely silent. \u00a0Pete comes to the conclusion that the old man was a spy and had cast a silent spell on the party. \u00a0Pete starts choking the old man demanding that he put an end to his trickery. \u00a0Gublika takes Pete\u2019s lead and frustrated that he can\u2019t cast a spell, plunges a necrotic dagger into the old man. \u00a0This kills the old man and the silence persists. \u00a0The party eventually fights off the creatures and kills the priest breaking the silence spell. \u00a0At that point the party quickly dispatch the remaining creatures. \u00a0Pete, Bone, and Loseaturn search the bond and gagged lady on laying on the floor. \u00a0Mighty eventually cuts her bonds and she acts like she has fallen in love with him. \u00a0Pete feels bad about his mistake and bring the old man back to like with a revivify spell. \u00a0Othello and Mighty end up plucking the statue\u2019s gem eyes out. \u00a0Pete is able to figure out that the lady that was sacrificed was the person he was looking for and collects some remains to bring back to his employer. \u00a0The rest of the party search the creatures and priest and recover some coins and a few items of interest.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
