Othello was not ready for this and look into the Umber Hulks four eyes and is confused / hypnotized and start heading back down the hallway toward the intersection. Mighty takes Bones lead and pokes his axe into the rubble injuring the Umber Hulk. Gublika cast grease at it and Pete cast guiding bolt. The grease make the Umber Hulk loose its grip on Hammar and Hammar is able to free himself. Othello heads around the corner and comes to his senses. But being already around the corner he gets the idea of maybe flanking the Umber Hulk through the old cave the previous Umber Hulks made. The rest of the party continues to strike at the beast and it starts retreating into the cave. Bone and the others pursue it. Othello enters the cave from the hole in the floor in the other hallway and head to the battle and encounters the Umber Hulk. This time the Umber Hulk’s eyes have no affect on Othello, which allows Othello to shoot and finish off the beast.

The party head back up the stairs past the mechanical bear room to the four way intersection with the three hallways leading to doors with Dwarven carving on door frames. One says treasury. One says armoury, and the other says alchemy. Pete cast detect trap down the norther hallway and it is trapped as well as the door. Othello is able to find and disarm the traps and tries to open the door, only to realise that it is a fake door. The party moves on the the armoury hallway and it is the same. But this time Gublika has to cast knock on the door to try and open it. Moving on the southern hallway Pete cast dispel magic that clears the hallway of traps. Othello find the door a fake as well. Frustrated the party gets ready to leave when Othello searches the floor of the four way intersection and finds a trap door that has not been use in a really long time. The trap door leads to shaft straight down that goes for a least 100 feet. At this point the party say it is time to go back to town and level up and pick up a few things from town. Othello closes the trap door and Gublika teleports the party back to the Fishing Bear Inn.

CoD = Hammar

Othello – Gnome: Thief Gubikla – Gnome: Magic User Bone – Hauman: Fighter Hammar – Dwarf: Cleric Pete – Dragonborn: “Real” Cleric Mightychondria – Half-Orc: Fighter Did Cloverdung go back to the beer pool to fine the water nymph? They party gathers up gems, scrolls, potions, rocks, and pots that survived the fireballs.
