The Othello and Tetranac starts sneaking down the hallway to scout out the area. They come to the hole in the floor from the Umber Hulks and they do a quick check with nothing insite within the hole. Bone is following up with his new flaming sword guiding his way. Othello and Tetranac make it the the intersection and hear some noises from the south. They decide that they should investigate as they would not want anything from sneaking up behind the party. Tetranac and Othello head toward the room where the pools reside. Bone checks out the Umber Hulk hole by poking his sword into the hole with no incident and cheches up with Tetranac and Othello. The noises are pretty loud in the room ahead. They sound like gnashing of teeth and body parts getting pulled apart.

As the party approaches they see Ghouls tearing apart the dead peasants that were killed because they were being controlled by flying creatures. As the Ghouls see the party they contemplate whether to keep feeding or attack the party. They soon decide that fresh meat is better than old. A battle ensues and party spreads out and attacks the creatures. Othello and Tetranac shoot and kill a pair of Ghouls. Gublika cast a fire bots and kills another. Bone, Hammar, and Pete swing at the incoming Ghouls. It is not long before it is done to one. That Ghoul on seeing two clerics does not want pain of trying to be converted to their faith and rips his own throat out.

Tetranac and Othello sneak and scout back down the hallway and get back to the northern intersection and hear clanking of armour from the direction of the Minotaur room. Othello is a little confused as where did this group come from. Could they have possibly come from the Umber Hulk’s cave?
