Still on the fourth floor of the dark tower the party continues to investigate. \u00a0Othello searches the chest to see if there are any other secret compartments. \u00a0Gubikla ask Talin to check out the crystal ball that he has been keeping an eye on the amphibious creature that came out of the portal. \u00a0Talin walks over to the crystal ball and pick it up and puts it back. \u00a0Tell Gubikla that there is nothing wrong with it. \u00a0Gubikla then licks it and nothing happens so he pick it up. \u00a0Tetranac and Hammar head over to inspect the suits of armor. \u00a0As Hammar is leaning in to take a closer look it sees the armour open its eyes and look back and him. \u00a0Tetranac senses something and tries to leap back but is not fast enough and gets hit by the Flesh Golem. \u00a0Talin advances and engages the Flesh Golem next to Hammar. \u00a0Gubikla cast some acidic spell against the same one. \u00a0Othello shoots the other Golem fighting Tetranac. \u00a0Hammar and Talin continue to hack at the Golem near them. \u00a0Gubikla cast another spell. \u00a0Tetranac decides he needs to get away so he cast globe of darkness, activates his cloak of invisibility and then does a backflip into the wall as he lost his direction in the dark. \u00a0This enables him to avoid the Golems first attack but it grabs him with his second attack and throws him across the room barely missing Gubikla. \u00a0But this attack incapacitates Tetranac. \u00a0So he is laying on the floor invisible next to Gubikla. \u00a0But as the he went unconscious the darkness globe vanishes. \u00a0This allows Othello to take another shot. \u00a0Hammar and Talin finnish off the Golem near them and head south around the hole to engage the other Golem who has taken off his helm and charged Othello. \u00a0Othello blinks himself up to the ceiling, a little too close to the ceiling and then falls down creates a shock wave on the Golem. Bone becomes aware of the situation after looting the chest and swings at the Golem. \u00a0\u00a0Talin finish of the Golem.<\/span><\/p>\n

Just as the party is starting to relax three Vrocks flies up the hole. \u00a0One lands next to Bone, one next to Hammar, and the last one lands next to Gubikla. \u00a0The first one screeches out and this stuns Hammar and Gubikla. \u00a0Bone hits the one near him. \u00a0Othello shoot a bolt and hit the one near Bone. \u00a0Talin hit the one near Hammar. \u00a0The Vrock\u2019s release a cloud of toxic spores. \u00a0This poisons Hammar for a short while and causes Tetranac parish. \u00a0Gubikla cast lightning near his and arcs across to the one near Bone. \u00a0This appears not to do as much damage as he would have expected. \u00a0Talin hits the one near him. \u00a0Gubikla cast sonic orb against the one near him. \u00a0Hammar cast detect magic to try and find the invisible Tetranac. \u00a0Bone continues to chop at the one near him. \u00a0Othello shoots and misses almost hitting Bone. \u00a0The Vrocks are slashing and pecking at the party members. \u00a0\u00a0Hammar manages to find Tetranac and revivify him. \u00a0Tetranac casts a healing spell on himself. \u00a0The party continues to attack the Vrock near each of them. \u00a0Hammar continues to cast some bonus healing on the party while attacking when he can. \u00a0Othello has move so that he can get sneak attacks on the Vrock near Bone. \u00a0Tetranac uses another healing spell and tries to sneak away but fails and one of the Vrock gets a attack of opportunity on him which negates the healing he had just received. \u00a0Gubikla almost goes down but manages to drink a potion that restores him to full health. \u00a0The party manages to kill off the Vrock. \u00a0Tetranac cancels his invisibility and Hammar heals the party. \u00a0Talin heads down to the first floor to find the gem the Vrocks turned into when killed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gubikla and Othello go over and investigate the silver casket that the Golems were guarding. \u00a0Othello finds out that there are several runes that are on the casket. \u00a0Gubikla tries to cast tenser’s floating disc under it. \u00a0He made it part way but misjudged the angle and the casket slid off the edge and the lid came off. \u00a0This release a spirit that looked like multiple snakes that went through the forehead of everyone left on the floor. \u00a0It left a mark on Gubikla\u2019s and Tetranac\u2019s forehead. \u00a0\u00a0Hammar and Othello felt that they barely avoided the mark. \u00a0The spirit started to form a humanoid and looks to becoming corporeal. \u00a0\u00a0Bone swing at the spirit. \u00a0Othello jumps up on the stone slab that the casket was on and gets ready to attack but then pulls off a smoke ring and tosses it down and says a word activating it. \u00a0This miraculously sucks up the lich spirit. \u00a0Othello then picks up ring and starts tying a string around the ring to mark that it has a lich inside it. \u00a0Gubikla sees the red \u201csriracha\u201d cylinder in the casket and strikes it with his necro dagger and it shatters. \u00a0This releases a blast of energy that hits Othello and throws him back and down the hole. He manages to land feet first allowing him to use his shockwave boots to break his fall. \u00a0Unfortunately Talin was near by searching for the gem. \u00a0Fortunately the shockwave managed send to the gem straight into his mouth. \u00a0\u00a0At this point the party decides to gather up and teleports back to town. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COD = Othello for sucking up the spirit of the \u201csriracha\u201d litch.<\/span><\/p>\n
