\n<\/span>Did Cloverdung kill off Kavis, knowing the Centaurs were hunting from him?<\/span><\/p>\n

Is Kavis ever going to wake up?<\/span><\/p>\n

The party stayed at the White Fawn after the siege battle. \u00a0The Dwarfs welcome the party and tells Talin that they have come from the south looking for the Duardin when they heard about the trouble in Deep Hold and were heading back to help. \u00a0They were headed cross country to Deep Hold. \u00a0The party decided to head on to Highvail. \u00a0The party did not have an Air Elemental to propel the prairie schooner, so the took the Hamish and the wagon on down the road. \u00a0The first day was clear with no hint of trouble. \u00a0The \u00a0party decided to go ahead and push on till midnight that way we could make it to the mountain pass by midday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Othello said he would take the second watch. \u00a0Tetranac and Mightychondria took the first watch and headed out and investigated a flash of light that Tetranac saw off of some metal. \u00a0They went out into the forest near by. \u00a0After a little while they found a Centaur sentry. \u00a0Mightychondria headed back to wake up the party as Tetranac kept watch on the Centaur. \u00a0He ended up spotting three others walking \u00a0sentry paths. \u00a0At this Tetranac headed back and told the party of what he had seen. \u00a0The party discussed what to do and decided to just sleep the rest of the night and see if daylight would help give better mood if our paths crossed with the Centaurs the next day. \u00a0Othello took over watch and climbed a tree at the edge of the woods and kept an eye on the Centaur to make sure they did not approach the party\u2019s camp site. \u00a0Othello noticed three other Centaurs walking but could not determine if they were the ones that Tetranac saw or not. \u00a0At dawn the party heads out down the road. \u00a0Othello took to his Hippogriff and circled around on watch and saw the group of Centaur, about 25 of them emerged from the woods in a V formation headed in the direction toward Wyntbridge. \u00a0Othello flew by and hailed the group and landed just outside of bow shot and a sub commander came out to talk and Othello. \u00a0After a brief talk and confirmation that they were headed to Wyntbridge. \u00a0Othello let them know that the sheriff was in Othello\u2019s party back at the camp. \u00a0The Centaur agreed to go back to the camp and talk to Bone. \u00a0Bone talked to the Centaur and gave them some information about Kavis and the rumor of him having a artifact and a story of Centaurs. \u00a0He ended up giving them a note to allow them in the city and help from the deputies on their search for the other Centaurs. \u00a0The Centaurs said that the schooners have been attacking everything north. \u00a0The Centaurs have taken a couple of ships but could not capture a prisoner to question them. \u00a0At that the parted ways and the party headed out down the road toward Highvail while they Centaurs headed toward Wyntbridge. <\/span><\/p>\n

The party climbed the crest of a hill near the mountain switchback to the pass and there at the base of road switchback were four prairie schooners. \u00a0Three medium ships and one smaller ship. Somehow the party \u00a0did not see them till they crested the hill. \u00a0Orcs in the crowsnest noticed the party as well. \u00a0Talin held up the coat of arms and Bone dond one as well. \u00a0Thinking that any distance closed will be better before the attack. \u00a0The party approached the boats as Othello flew out to the side to cross boats perpendicular to the road that led up to the switch back where the boats resided. \u00a0\u00a0One of the scorpion handlers shot a javelin that landed short of Bone and the rest of the party. \u00a0This indicated that they saw through the ruse of the party. \u00a0Talin starts flying toward the boat on the front right that was facing the party. \u00a0Bone started running toward the now formed line of Orcs with shields and a line archers behind. \u00a0Othello jumped off his Hippogriff and remembering the last time he landed on the commander. \u00a0This time it did not go as planned as he did not see one of the ropes that he hit on the way down. \u00a0This caused him to face plant into the deck. \u00a0Pete used Dimension Door to bring himself and Mightychondria to the deck next to Othello. \u00a0Mighty took the opertonity to kill one of the surprised Orcs. \u00a0Tetranac shot an arrow at the line of orcs. Othello recovers and shoot the Orc in the crowsnest on his boat. \u00a0Mighty cuts down the other Orc on the deck. \u00a0Talin pins one of the orcs with his halberd to the deck and turns and attacks the one that ducked his flying attack. \u00a0Bone charges the line and killed an archer as the shield orc ducked his swing. \u00a0Tetranac shoots an arrow into his foot by accident. \u00a0Pete cast curse on the line of Orcs. \u00a0Mighty reloads the scorpion. \u00a0Othello shoots the Orc in the crowsnest again. \u00a0The Orcs are now creating a ring around Bone, not sure how to attack the well armored sheriff. \u00a0\u00a0Talin kills off the two Orcs and starts cutting down the mast. \u00a0Bone cuts down a couple more Orcs and couple starts to fee. \u00a0Mighty jumps down off the boat and kill one of the Orcs. \u00a0Tetranac shoots a flaming arrow and ignites the pitch barrels on the smaller boat. \u00a0Othello finally kills the Orc in the crowsnest. \u00a0Talin manages to cut down the mast and makes it fall onto several of the Orcs fighting Bone. \u00a0This also ended killed the Orc in that crowsnest. \u00a0Mighty, Bone, Pete, and Tetranac clean up the last of the Orcs. \u00a0The party can hear fighting from above where the mountain pass and the gates of Highvail are. \u00a0The party realize that the main force is above. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
