Gambrial the Lord of the Keep welcomes Karel Othello and his band of men into the Keep and thank them for helping defeat the Orc invaders. \u00a0Othello introduces Bone the sheriff of Wyntbridge. \u00a0Gambrial acknowledges Bone and concentrates his conversations to Bone and Othello barely looking at the rest of the party. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Pete and Hammar help out with the wounded soldiers. \u00a0Gambrial ask about a report that his scout gave him about the Orcs coming in boats and the party confirms it and tells him that there are three boats in decent condition at the bottom of the pass. \u00a0He sends some men down to scavenge the boats and anything else that could be of use. \u00a0He hires Hamish and his wagon to help haul stuff back to the keep. \u00a0A trumpet sounds and Gambrial\u2019s brother Fedwig arrives from the Manner with a small group of mounted men. \u00a0One member of the group is Litia a half elf healer and follower of the Lady of Mercy. \u00a0She goes into the barracks and helps with the wounded. The party and the keep troops are offered brandy and some ale to celebrate the victory over the Orc. \u00a0The party is given some barracks and Othello, Bone, and Gubikla are offered Gambrial’s sleeping quarters. \u00a0Pete and Mightychondria find a quiet room and he cast speak with dead on one of the Orc heads he collected. \u00a0The party rest for 8 hours to recover from the battle and get any spells back. \u00a0When the party awaken it is early evening and find the cook has saved some stew for the party. \u00a0Bone and Othello talk to the lord and find out that he has not seen or heard of the Orc raiding party before they attacked. \u00a0The weather is unusually cold. \u00a0A number of random misty started showing up in Highvail. \u00a0The misty is yellowish in color and moves unnaturally. \u00a0If someone is caught in the mist they hear them scream but physical remains when the misty is gone. \u00a0The person just vanishes. \u00a0The mist only comes at night. \u00a0The party also gets a quick map of the area. \u00a0The Korvel Pass is on the left or east side of the map and shows a lake surrounded by mountains and Highvail is on the other side of the lake and Bridgeport, mineport, Fish Bouren, and a few other villages are around the lake. The party also find out that Gambrial was banished to the keep because of this love of Lady Chastity who was found of his brother instead of him. \u00a0He ask Othello to take a note to her maid servant to pass along to Chastity. \u00a0Pete and Mightychondria ask two more Orc heads some questions. \u00a0Each time the Orc would come to life and right before the spell ended, the head would utter \u201cDeath is Coming\u201d:<\/span><\/p>\n
