He unleashed a blast from his wand to try and clear out some of the haze and bring in some fresh air. The party goes into the bar and there are several Dwarfs that look to be sleeping in the bar. Talin and Hammar talk to the bartender and tell them that the person that they are looking for is not here right now. But will let them know when he returns. Talin find an older Dwarf and they talk and he gives him the location of the best Dwarven armourer. The armourer is in Mineport. The party then heads over to Mineport using a fairer and his boat/raft. They get there and visit one of the temples. Talin goes in and discusses the mist and other thing happening around town but does not get a lot of information. There is not tempel of IO or Sehanine to the disappointment of Pete and Othello. The party then heads over to Striker’s the armourer and talk to the Dwarf iron worker Durain. Othello talks about getting some bracers made but holds off to line up a caster that can enchant the bracers. Hammar commissioned him to make some breast plate and Talin gets him to make a Tower shield that will lock into the ground with a stein holder Pete ask him for the best leather worker and he recommends Toothless Tim. Pete does not like the sound of Tim drooling on his stuff so gets direction across the street to another Leatherworker that is good but always insist on they work to have their logo on it. Pete tries to negotiate a cloak be made from the Winter Wolf hide he had and ends up going to Toothless Tim due to the fact they the other worker insisted on a full flower design. After this the group heads back to Highvail and drops by the park near the palace. The party tries to get in to see the Uthkar and or the Sheriff. But the guards would not let the party in, so they decided to drop by Ormley Shakestill the Apothecary. Othello was looking for some black powder that reacted to fire but they did not have any but offered some Fire ruby power. It seems to be a little less stable then the Black powder but maybe a little more powerful. It was rather expensive so Othello passed for now. They head back to the Swan and wait out till night.

The party heads out by climbing off the balcony as they did not want to distress the nightman by breaking the bless of protection that the priest cast on the door. They head out down the street looking for evidence of the mist. All of the street lights are not lit as no one is expected to be out at night. Pete look around for something to cast light on and throw down the street to help illuminate the area. Talin knocks down a light post and hands it to Pete. Pete breaks some pieces off and heads down the street. There is a scream a few blocks away and the party head out toward that direction. The party comes to a back street that they see misty tentacles crawling down the street and up on the walls about a up to about 10 feet. Hammar cast Spirit Guardians. The party waits a few turns for the tentacles to get a little closer and then attacks them. The party can’t tell if they are really doing any damage. But the Spirit Guardians are hold them off a little though more and more tentacles are coming and trying to attack. With a Fireball and glowing bolt they party sees a large misty mass about 50 feet from the party with humanoid figures in the mist. The closer the main body get to the party the higher the tentacles get on the walls. Talin decides the best thing for him to do is get to the second floor to attack from. So he bust down the door of the corner house and heads in and up the stairs. Othello shoots several bolts down toward the main body of the mist. Gubikla cast a couple of Fireballs and lightning bolt down the street in the process busting out the windows of the near by building/houses. Bone charges in and starts cutting down the humanoid figures. He determines that he should not breath in the mist and holds his breath. It is also determined that the mist does not seem to get near fire. Hammar has his Spiritual Weapon attacking nearby tentacles and he cast Sacred flame against some tentacles as well. Eventually with the last humanoid figure going down the mist fades away. The party seems to have vanquished one of the mists. Was it a small one or are they all the same. How many of them are around town? What is the root cause? Are all question the party has yet to answer.

COD = Bone for having no fear.

Talin – Dwarf: Fighter (lvl 9) Hammar – Dwarf: Cleric (lvl 9) Gubikla – Gnome: Mage (lvl 9) Pete – Dragonborn: “Real” Cleric (lvl 8) Othello – Gnome: Thief (lvl 10) Bone – Human: Fighter (lvl 9) Is Cloverdung controlling the mist?
