Since when did Cloverdung have a thing for Dragonborn?<\/span><\/p>\n

Why did Kavis insult that poor little old lady? \u00a0It is not like they are some disguised evil mage.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The party looks around after defeating the mist and they don\u2019t see any bodies or other residue. \u00a0Othello thinks he hears someone running from where the mist came from. \u00a0The party jogs down the street but don\u2019t see anyone around. \u00a0But they did see a house that the lights were all out and it appears that the metal door frame has been corroded. \u00a0Talin kicks in the door and goes upstairs. \u00a0Othello goes in and looks at the front room and sees that the painting look odd and on further inspection see that the colors blue and red look melted or smeared where the other colors look ok. \u00a0Gubikla does an Arcana check and determine that there is some type of ectoplasmic residue left near the front door. \u00a0Talin heads up and looks in the main bedroom but does not see anything and then heads to what appears to be a kids room. \u00a0He finds some blocks that have the same colors melted on them. \u00a0Othello head to the kitchen near the back of the house on the first floor and find that the corroded metal not as bad the closer to the back of the house he gets. \u00a0Othello then heads upstairs bypassing Gubikla who appears to be having trouble climbing the stairs. \u00a0Othello heads into the master bedroom and sees a blackened imprint of two people in the bed. \u00a0Othello collects some of this residue to see if he can\u2019t get it identify later. \u00a0Talin looks around trying to find a clue of who lived here, on hopes that it might give us a hit of the mist true reason for being in town. \u00a0Talin heads across the street where he sees some lights on. \u00a0He then tries to knock the door down but fails. \u00a0Then Hammar kicks open the door and takes a crossbow bolt to the crotch and then the door gets slammed shut again. \u00a0Talin tries to knock open the door again and fails again. \u00a0Bone is falls down laughing. \u00a0Talin then threatens to break open a window if they don\u2019t open the door and talk to him. \u00a0\u00a0After a hesitation the old man agrees and cracks open the door and ask what they wanted and tells them to get off the street or the mist will get them. \u00a0They finally get that the Johnson\u2019s live across the street and he was a seamstress. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is determined to look for any more mist and or maybe head over to the park. \u00a0Othello climbs up onto the roof thanks to the suggestion of Talin and his failed attempt. \u00a0Othello does not see any mist so he blinks to the roof across the street. \u00a0He still does not see anything but hears a scream in the direction of the park. \u00a0\u00a0He tell the party \u201cTo the park\u201d and heads off blinking across the rooftops. \u00a0The rest of the party heads up to the Swan to park street and encounter the edge of the mist. \u00a0Othello sees that the mist looked to be headed down the street next to the park. \u00a0The odd thing was that the mist was not going into the park but stopped at the fence around the park. \u00a0Othello sneaks up closer to the corner were the mist is. \u00a0He see Talin flying around overhead and then settling down on the roof catty corner to where Othello was. \u00a0The mist seems to go up to about the top of the first floor. \u00a0It does not seem to know that Othello is there. \u00a0Othello see several figures in the intersection near the core of the mist. \u00a0He shoots a bolt at the one near the middle that was not moving. \u00a0Hammar moves up and cast the Spiritual Guardians to help slow and defend the area. \u00a0Tetranac cast Protection from Evil and shoots an arrow down the street and accidently hits Hammer in the back. \u00a0Gubikla cast a Fireball centered on the middle of the intersection after he hears Talin say let it rain. \u00a0After the fireball Talin jumps down and unleashes his shockwave hamer across the intersection and it catches the corner of the building that Othello is on. \u00a0This make Othello fall off the building but he manages to catches himself on the edge. \u00a0He climbs back up and shoots another bolt at a moving figure this time. \u00a0An arc of electricity shoots between the bolts. \u00a0Talin creates another shock wave of rocks from the street with his hammer, then flies up to where Othello is. \u00a0At this point Bone charges into the mist and sees a Dragonborn in the misty holding a sphere. \u00a0The Dragonborn shoots some kind of magic and hits Bone as he is approaching but it barly phases him and he comes in with a big swing and hit the sphere. \u00a0The sphere explodes and blast everything in a 150\u2019 radius. \u00a0This blast kills Hammar, It knocks Othello and Talin off the building. \u00a0Lucky Othello was keen enough to activate his cape of gliding to land safely. \u00a0\u00a0Talin tries flying but is pointing toward the ground and is able to pull up and take a little less damage then going in head first. \u00a0Bone finds a split silver urn with skulls on it. \u00a0Tetranac cast a Cure Light Wounds on Hammar. \u00a0This is enough to bring him back from the brink of death. \u00a0They go to the center of the intersection and Hammar cast Prayer of Healing on himself, Tetranac, and Bone. \u00a0Meanwhile Talin bust through a window of the damaged jewelry store and finds the show room empty but there is a door in the back. \u00a0Othello goes in after Talin and finds that the door to the back room is trapped. \u00a0He manages to disarm it and they find a small room with a desk with paperwork on it and a chest. \u00a0They decided to just take the chest and Talin halls it upon a Tenser\u2019s Floating disc that was summoned by Othello. \u00a0They head out and across the street to the Swan and find the door knocked ajar. They find the doorman unconscious on the floor. \u00a0Othello brings the chest up to the room. Hammar stabilizes the doorman and searches his pockets for any cash. \u00a0Othello gets the idea to take some Brandy but quickly changes out bottle when Talin finds some good Dwarven Brandy. \u00a0Tetranac finds and robs the till. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At this point Bone uses a ring of detect treasure and the party heads down park street. \u00a0They do notice that there are statues of bears along the park fence that they think are enhanced in some way to hold of the mist. \u00a0The party goes down the street and the ring leads the party to a small stone tower surrounded by a stone wall. \u00a0There are gargoyles on the tower and the wall and it does not look like there are any windows in the tower. \u00a0The gate is made out of orriculum according to Talin. \u00a0Gubikla finds that the gate is magical and is trapped. \u00a0The party decided to make a note and move on as everyone was still pretty damaged from the mist fight. \u00a0\u00a0They go a little farther then find the magic shop. \u00a0Gubikla detects magic and is temporarily blinded but says there is magical things crawling on walls including the outside wall. \u00a0So the party leave the shop alone for now and head on down toward the armour shop for Tetranac. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They make it to the armourer and there is a light on upstairs above the shop. \u00a0Tetranac levitates up to the window and uses his cloak to turn invisible. \u00a0He manages to open the window and the inside shutters. \u00a0He climbs in and sees several people half asleep in the room. \u00a0He sneaks by and goes down stairs. \u00a0He goes to the front door and unlocks it and opens it. \u00a0He misses the bell at the top of the door and the people upstairs go who’s that is someone inside? \u00a0They see the windows open and close it and then come down the stairs and head toward the door. \u00a0Tetranac alerted to their movements headed into the showroom. \u00a0There he sees a light chain shirt on display. \u00a0The store keepers go and close and bar the front door. \u00a0They also lock it and take the key. \u00a0One of them looks around the store but does not notice the invisible Drow. \u00a0Once the storekeepers go backup stairs, Tetranac takes the chain shirt and heads over to the front door again. \u00a0He pulls the clapper in the bell and unbars the door then realizes the key is missing from the lock. \u00a0He signals the party that he is stuck and luckily Othello hears him and goes in and picks the lock. \u00a0Gubikla cast detect magic and does not see anything enchanted in the shop so the party heads back to the Swan and pick up the chest and teleports back to Wyntbridge. \u00a0This way the stolen loot is in a different town and Talin can pick up stuff from the bank to pay for his shield that is getting crafted. \u00a0It also lets the party see if the Gnolls made it to Wyntbridge, find if the Dwarfs have done\/found anything, and check up on the Centaurs <\/span><\/p>\n
