After killing off the elementals the party needed to rest and recoup. \u00a0They went around the bend of mountain slope and set up camp. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Tetrenac took first watch and headed around the bend to keep watch. \u00a0He sees six huge spider like creatures around the urns. \u00a0One of them picks up a urn and starts heading back to the door. \u00a0The spider like creature teleported, about the last thousand feet, and set the urn back down in front of the door. \u00a0Tetrenac makes it back to camp and informs what he has seen to Othello. \u00a0Othello decides to sneak up the road and see if he can\u2019t figure out what is going on near the door. \u00a0After a while of creeping up the road he makes it about two hundred and fifty feet from the urns. He sees that there are about eighteen humanoids in plate armor. The have long snouts like a crocodile. \u00a0He also sees three other human like creatures come out of the door wearing red robes and walk around a area near the urns and position themselves one next to each urn. \u00a0The start chanting and doing some type of ritual. \u00a0Othello shoots a bolt across the road to see if he can\u2019t distract them. \u00a0He hears but does not sees something in that direction. \u00a0It sends out a wave like a sonar ping, as it tries to determine if anything is in the area. \u00a0Othello stays as quiet and still as he can. \u00a0He hears the ping again but this time it seems that it is farther away. \u00a0With this he brings back his attention on the three near the urns. \u00a0The ritual continues and the leds on the urns unscrew and fly up and vanish. \u00a0The mist stats to come out of each urn. The area immediately around the urns starts to get covered in the mist. \u00a0\u00a0Othello seeing the area is going to get covered in mist, sets his bear trap up on the road and puts a smoke ring with poison next to it. \u00a0He then retreated to the camp site and informs Bone of all the happenings near the door. \u00a0The mist is advancing down the road, but stops were the area start to widen out. \u00a0This means that the parties camp site won\u2019t be danger being covered in mist. \u00a0Bone and Othello notice that about a dozen of the armored croc snout creatures were following a huge snake out of the mist and were heading down the road. \u00a0Most of the party was resting so the debate was if they were going to see \/ find the party before they had finished resting. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The snake and the armored army came to a point on the road the and started cross country toward the camp site. \u00a0It looks like the snake was following the sent and wagon tracks toward the camps magical hut. \u00a0Othello figured out that the party would still need to sleep a few rounds after the hut disappeared. \u00a0Bone and Othello were hiding behind a rock to the side and ahead of the parties camp. \u00a0So just about the time the advancing creatures started past, Bone and Othello attacked. \u00a0Othello start off with a lighting bolt to hopefully weaken them up a little and Bone charged the closest one. \u00a0The lighting bolt must have jard Tetranac out of his meditation as he came out of the hut to help with the battle. \u00a0\u00a0The armored creatures were shooting large black arrows at the party member that they could see. \u00a0Some of these seem capable of piercing rocks. \u00a0The three members managed to hold off the advancement till the rest of the party was awake. \u00a0Tetranac managed to kill the snake before it made it to the mules for a snack. Bone was doing his normal hack and slash method of thinning out the enemy. \u00a0Gubikla cast another fireball doing massive area damage. \u00a0Talin charged in causing one to run in fear, as he slammed them with his shield. \u00a0Othello and Tetranac were trading shoots with the enemy slowly picking them off. \u00a0Talin sees the commander looking to blow a horn and swings and trips him making him fall on his back.But he still has the horn in his hand and just as he is about to use it, Talin manages to disarm the horn from the commander. \u00a0Gubikla manages to use his crystal ball to scry and shoot magic missiles at the commander, that was hidden behind the globe of darkness that Tetranac had cast to help delay the advancement. The party kills off the remaining creatures. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pete revivifies one of the mules that got hit with one of the arrows, as well as heals Hammish. \u00a0It is discovered that the plate armor of the creatures is covered in a tarish substance. \u00a0The bows the enemy was using take a twenty strength to pull the metal \u201cstring\u201d and look like they would use strength instead of dexterity in controlling them. \u00a0Pete activates his earring of tongues and cast speak with dead on one of the enemy corpses. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What is in the silver Urns? – faital mist<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the mist? \u00a0– The mist came from ripping the soul out of the victims<\/span><\/p>\n

Who summoned you?: \u00a0der\u2026.. \u00a0Head Explodes<\/span><\/p>\n

Pete heads over to the commander and ask him a question and his head explodes as well. \u00a0That is when the party notices that there is a floating eye above the battlefield. \u00a0It gets dispelled by Pete, and then Pete moves on to the next body.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where is the secret entrance to deep hold? – Dunno<\/span><\/p>\n

Resin coated upon your armor? – Yes they made us do it<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is in charge? – Sequalashachiz<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you manage to take over deep hold? – By killing all the inhabitants<\/span><\/p>\n

Who is commanding you telepathically? – No one<\/span><\/p>\n
