Othello visits the two main temples, The Ladies of Light and the Lords of Light. He informs them of the urns and what is happening at Deep Hold. \u00a0But finds that they do \u00a0seem to know what to make of this information. \u00a0They also seem a little distressed and after some investigation it seems the high priest and priestess have not been seen in awhile. \u00a0He spends the rest of the time studying some book. Gubikla goes off and studies and levels up, but finds that there are no other wizards in town.. \u00a0Pete makes arrangements to teleport to the capital so that he can visit his temple and level up. \u00a0He also finds that the new leader of Djadbalja is Elurion the second. \u00a0The first was renowned for purges, was, pestilence, and depravity. \u00a0Tiruth Karl is young 13ish, 45th of his line and has a regent. \u00a0The regent is rumored ot hate Gnome, his first wife ran off with one, Dragonborn, they are smelly and offensive, Dwarves, they are cheap and live in holes, Halflings, they pretend to be young adorable. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">After a restful few days the party convinces Hammish to bring his wagon back to Deep Hold so that we can try to bring back a urn in the wagon. \u00a0Othello, Talin, and Hammar convince Phungal to go with the party to point out the landslide where the map was buried and possible the back door. \u00a0The party then heads off south down the road toward Deep Hold again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The first several hours passed without incident. \u00a0About mid afternoon Tetranac and Pete saw a flock of birds flying toward the party. \u00a0Tetranac gets up on the wagon and tries to speak with them but they don\u2019t seem to understand him or don\u2019t care what he has to say, because as they passed over they unleashed an array of ice shards. \u00a0A few party members were able to dodge some or all the damage. \u00a0It was noticed that Hammish was able to crawl under the wagon before the attack. \u00a0Othello managed to unleash his wand of lightning taking out a small group. \u00a0Tetranac shot his bow and killed another one of them. \u00a0Talin and Bone readied their weapons. \u00a0Gubikla cast fireball and took out all but two. \u00a0Othello managed to take out one and Gubikla decided to Domination Door and then Magic Missile the last one before it could report back. \u00a0Tetranac started collecting the birds to make some stew. \u00a0Pete managed to save some heads so that evening when it was time to camp, Tetranac was ready to cook his stew and Pete cast speak with dead and speak languages. He ask the birds the following questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Who sent the birds? Vadrule sent the birds<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Who is Vadrule? \u00a0The guy that sent us here<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Where is Vadrule? \u00a0Was deep under ground.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Where is the citadel of frost? \u00a0Don\u2019t know<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">How do we get to Vadrule: \u00a0Through the tunnel<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Password to the door? \u00a0Pra Pa <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Are there Dwarves in Deep Hold? Yes<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Do you know the location of the Dwarves in Deep hold? No<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Are the Dwarves alive? \u00a0Yes<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">At this the party rested with two watches. \u00a0The first watch was taken by Tetranac and Talin and nothing eventful happened. \u00a0The second watch was Bone and Othello. \u00a0About the third hour a couple of winter wolves approached. \u00a0One ran past Bone toward Othello and the rest of the party, and one faced off against Bone. \u00a0Bone was defending well, while taking chunks out of the wolf. \u00a0Othello managed to use his three-in-one bolt and blinded the one heading his direction. \u00a0This caused it to flee in direction away from the camp site. \u00a0This also made Othello have to blink in the direction of the wolf and then fire a shot and repeat. \u00a0Because he needed to retrieve his other magical bolt. Bone\u2019s thick armor and fighter ablity caused the other wolf to try and flee. \u00a0But that just gave Bone the chance to use his new Black Bow of Death that ended up shooting a incinerator arrow and that chard the wolf to the ground. By this time Othello had managed to redirect the blinded wolf he was chasing back toward the camp and Bone used one swing to chop its head off. \u00a0Bone skinned the winter wolf and made ready for winter wolf breakfast. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The party continued on toward Deep Hold even though Phungal was now completely drunk and sleeping it off in the wagon as he apparently had stayed up drinking Talin\u2019s keg of beer. \u00a0Othello and Tetranac when up ahead of the wagon to carefully scout out the path to make sure nothing was in the way. \u00a0About an hour before dusk Hammar and Talin see tip of a white dragon wing poke through the clouds. \u00a0Tetranc manges to glimpse the tail. \u00a0It looks like it was about to fly on past the party when Hammar uses Thaumaturgy and calls out insults to the Dragon. The Dragon let out a roar and then the next time they saw him it was when it was coming straight down out of the low cloud cover at the party. \u00a0It breathed a icy blast at the group that had stayed on the wagon. \u00a0Othello managed to get a lighting wand shot off at the dragon, but the dragon did not seem to notice it. \u00a0Tetranac got caught off guard with how fierce the dragon was and became afread and ran away for a round before realizing that we had already fought a smaller dragon and won. \u00a0The dragon focused its attack on Hammar with claws and a bite. \u00a0Talin shot but missed with his Black Bow of Death, but had the clarity of mind to use commander strike on Gubilka. \u00a0This allowed Gubikla to cast two fireballs at the dragon making the dragon land. \u00a0Othello shot and missed the dragon. Tetranac ran back up to the fight. \u00a0Pete Dimensioned Doored to the back of the dragon with Bone where Bone stabbed the dragon. \u00a0Hammar tried to Hold the dragon with a spell, but the dragon managed to withstand the effects. \u00a0Talin did a thunderous strike with his hammer causing rocks to erupt from the ground in a cone causing the dragon and several party members to take damage from flying rocks. \u00a0He commander strike Gubikla again. \u00a0This time Gubikla amps up his first fireball with his amplification wand and then finish the dragon off with his second fireball. \u00a0But in the process he melts a ring and a necklace that the dragon was wearing. \u00a0\u00a0The party scavenges what they can and rest for the night. \u00a0Pete speaks with the dead dragon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Where is your lair? In a cave in the highest peak in this area<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Who is your master? No master<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Where is the Citadel of Frost? Far to the north<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Dunains stronghold? Don\u2019t know<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">If Highvail is a diversion tactic what is the true target? \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Djadbalja<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The party is still not in Deep Hold and in fact still have not made it back to the front door.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">COD = Talin and Gublika for the tag team.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hammar &#8211; Dwarf: Cleric (lvl 10) Pete &#8211; Dragonborn: Cleric (lvl 10) Gubikla &#8211; Gnome: Wizard (lvl 10) Tetranac \u2013 Drow: Ranger (lvl 8) Talin \u2013 Dwarf: Fighter (lvl 9) Othello \u2013 Gnome: \u00a0Thief (lvl 10) Bone \u2013 Human: Fighter (lvl 10) Did Cloverdung kidnap all the priest from Highvail?
