The party gets introduced to Ratodune the king. \u00a0He inquires about the party and who they are and why did they come. \u00a0Talin introduces the party and give the beacon to the king. \u00a0It starts glowing and so the king walks to the center of the chamber and places it on the floor. \u00a0A portal appears and Durlain appears and greets his cousin the king. \u00a0He tell them the wizard can hold the portal open for a few hours and to start evacuating. \u00a0The king oranges the camp to start evacuating. \u00a0The woman and kids start gathering the valuable temple artifacts and and gold and start heading through the portal. \u00a0It is going to take a couple of hours. \u00a0The party wonder around talking to the priest and commanders to get a overview of the defences. \u00a0The guard gather at the great door to defend it once that break in. \u00a0Randy hands Gubikla a couple of immovable rods that get placed against the doors to help defend them from getting knocked in. \u00a0Gubikla also places a hut next to the door to help brace the door. \u00a0Othello finds the supposed location of where the dragon is digging down to the chamber. \u00a0The dwarves let the party take as much gold as they can carry and still fight, due to them not being able to evacuate it all. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Othello, Bone, and Mightychondria wait for the dragon to dig down to the cavern. \u00a0Talin, Gubikla, Randy, Tetranac, and the king wait at the door. \u00a0The door beams start to break and it soon crashes open. \u00a0This reveals dozens of Orcway that shoot their black bows into the awaiting defences. \u00a0The dwarves charge in. \u00a0Tetranac sitting on his broom shoots a barrage of arrows. \u00a0Gubikla unleashes a fireball. \u00a0This is when the Dragon breaks through leaving a large hole in ceiling. \u00a0At first the dragon does not appear and Othello shoots a lighted arrow up the hole revealing the dragons head. \u00a0It breathes frost on the group and then lands on one of the Dwarves that Othello summoned from the horn of Clanggedin. \u00a0Othello and Mightychondria are frightened by the dragon and have to run a distance away. \u00a0Where they shoot the dragon from a far. \u00a0Bone and the summoned dwarves try and fight the dragon up close. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Two of the bebiliths teleport into the changer near the great doors. \u00a0As they are invisible they are able to start tearing apart the dwarves in the back. \u00a0\u00a0A hezrou had also appeared at the back but Randy managed to banish it before it could attack. \u00a0There are also several tiefling that sneak into the changer and attack. \u00a0One attacks Randy. \u00a0Another a little later finds Tetranac on his broom and shoots a lighting bolt at him. This knocks Tetranac off his broom who feather falls down while shooting the tiefling on the way down. \u00a0Randy manages to finish of the one near him and dimension door away from the bebilith. \u00a0After a couple of fire balls and a cone of cold, Gubikla realized the bebiliths are somewhere in the back and sends his hawk familiar to find it. \u00a0Once it finds it he unleashes a barrage of magic missiles at it killing it. \u00a0Talin had rushed in with the king and taken on and killed a Drud or two. \u00a0But not before the king had fallen a couple of times and had Randy heal him. \u00a0One of the last actions the king did was to activate his crown. \u00a0It exploded in a spectacular fashion killing the last couple of drud and orcway nearby. \u00a0Talin sees at least four more drud and amy of orcway just past the cloud of dust from the explosion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile the dragon has proven hard to hit as Bone. \u00a0The summoned dwarves only acted as a diversion for the dragon before there were dispatched. \u00a0The others have managed to hit the beast several times but only enough to draw its attention. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The last of the evacuating dwarves make it through the portal and the portal starts to waver. \u00a0Othello manages to make his way through the portal and tell Boris to hold the portal as there are still several dozen defenders that need to make it. \u00a0He says to hurry as he can only hold it for a few more rounds. \u00a0He heads back to the cavern and tells those that can hear to hurry as the portal will only last a short time. \u00a0The group is retreating from the great doors. \u00a0Talin dragging the king\u2019s body and makes it to the spot where the hezrou was when it appears again only to be banished again by Randy. \u00a0The group is still not going to make it to the portal so Gubikla manages to create a arcan gate and flies through on his broom. \u00a0Tetranac manages to make to the portal on his broom in time for another frost breath from the dragon. \u00a0The others make it through the portal while taking a last shot a the dragon. \u00a0Tetranac had passed out due to the dragon\u2019s breath and lands in the river next to the Anus. \u00a0The otters go in to fish him out. \u00a0With everyone through the portal Borris closes the portal.<\/span><\/p>\n
