After the harrowing escape from Deep Hold. \u00a0Everyone rested and there was a great feast in the <\/span>Mordenkainen’s Magnificent Mansion that <\/span>Gubikla cast. \u00a0The Dwarven King (Ironharth) and the collection of anyone important. \u00a0The King gave each fighter a mithril pendant in the same of a gauntlet. \u00a0Everyone else got a Dwarven token that said Dwarven friend. \u00a0It looks like the Dwarven Priest will activate it so the gauntlets have bless and the tokens have Dwarven resistance to poison. \u00a0Karal Othello offers them the Dwarven Outpost for them to live until they can retake Deep Hold. \u00a0After inquiries into what was going on and passing of knowledge between the Dwarves and Party. \u00a0The party heads off to Wentbridge to get updates there. \u00a0They find that the bailiff and another noble was assassinated. \u00a0Climet Pace narrowly escaped. \u00a0The party make its way to the Bear. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There drinking arounds to pass the night away, when Gubikla gets stabbed in the neck. \u00a0He turns around but does not see anything so he tries to read a scroll but fails. \u00a0Next Othello gets stabbed when he was headed to the bar. \u00a0He draws his short sword and does a sweep around behind him but misses whatever it was. \u00a0He then unleashes his sword to dance on its own. \u00a0Mightychondria tries to throw a bear at the invisible attacker but misses. \u00a0Probable because the Dwarves were shocked at someone wasting beer. \u00a0Rand was getting ready to try and heal Gubikla when his chair decided he was Pete and wrapped him up with the armrest and carried him the to corner of the room. \u00a0Gubikla manages to catch the attackers clothes on fire and we see it head to the door. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This must have let someone see it was a Drow and called out \u201cget the Drow\u201d so Talin and Hammar hit Tetranac and knock him over in his chair then tie him up. \u00a0Thinking he was the Drow they were talking about. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile Randy finally gets free of the chair. \u00a0Gubikla manages to put a immovable rod the ninja clothes to hold them in place. \u00a0Then pumbels him with magic missiles. \u00a0Randy cuts the head off and ask it some question by talking to the dead. \u00a0After that Rand buys a sack of salt and puts the head in the bag to preserve it. <\/span><\/p>\n

Tetranac decides to bring the Drow\u2019s body out of the city so that he can burn the body and collect some of the ashes. \u00a0So a majority of the party head out and burn the body. \u00a0This attracts some Griffin that the party kills. \u00a0They do notice that they had some silver amulets that reminded them of those that Erlic Doom Snake used. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once back in the Dancing Bear a runner comes in telling Talin that Brombin has some information about the North. \u00a0Talin and Karal Othello head to the temple and find that Brombin has found two northern Dwarves; Tubby long axe and Herwin Ice main. \u00a0They tell us about the giants gathering in the north driving them south. \u00a0They find out that the Citadel of Frost is a mass of ice and is moving south. \u00a0The last they saw it was south of Frostburg, east of Othour\u2019s Gully, and a days north of Ackmen\u2019s watering hole. \u00a0\u00a0With this they invite them to the Bear for a drink. \u00a0While at the Bear Boris shows up as the party was looking for him. \u00a0He tells them a little of what he know about the North. \u00a0He also gives them the Book so they can travel the Vorticinal Network. \u00a0He tells them that Isbil’s Staff is somewhere on the network.<\/span><\/p>\n

The party decides to try to head north using the Vorticinal Network as it appears that the teleporting circle in High Vail has been lost. \u00a0The party then head to the circle of trees and use the book to head to a point marked with a ring. \u00a0The party teleport through a worm like tunnel and end up at a similar stone circle in pitch black. \u00a0It is determine that it is 500 feet underground and it appears that a dragon has carved out the chamber. \u00a0The party figure out a direction that feels to be the way out and head that way. \u00a0They soon find themselves surrounded by magma men. \u00a0The party dispose of the dozen or so creatures and then hears a booming voice. \u00a0\u201cWho dares enters my domain?\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
