Talin strikes the jade with his hammer and is electrocuted with a spark. Hammar gets Othello to string the cable up to the cat heads and then he strikes the jade. I lights up the spears and it destroys the rune in that location. Othello decides that it is not the right type of writing material and replaces the runes with chalk. He then shoots a lighting bolt into the middle. The lightning does not bounce off but is absorbed. He has to re-write the runes when it is determined that they have to be inscribed into the jade itself. Like the ones that have survived. So Hammar cast stone shape and starts inscribing the jade.

Meanwhile Tetranac is board and cast dancing lights across the lake. This attracts a flying beast that ends up picking him up and starts to fly off. Tetranac cast fairy fire on it this helps Talin, Bone, and Gubikla attack it. Gubikla also manages to cast reduce on Tetranac. This frees one arm but the other is still grappled in a now held beast. Thanks to Hammar. It is sliding and spinning down toward the lake when Tetranac cuts himself free. Gublika manages to use Bigby’s hand to pull Tetranc back to land before the giant beast swimming in the lake eat him like it did the flying beast when it hit the water. Some others found that that the grass covers what appears to be some carapace like material.

Once Hammar finished engraving the runes on a section of the jade it would fall a few inches down. Othello pushed down and it felt like it would give. He stood on one and it started going down. The rest of the party decided to do the same. They went down about twelve feet then stopped. Once the leftover section were brought down to to align with the others a door opened up in the copper plating wall. This corridor lead down to in a step spiral shape. Once inside the door on the outside closed and it sounded like the platforms went back up. The corridor is only about three feet wide. But once it went down far enough the ceiling got toller and it look to have holes that tapered up. Othello searching on the way down only found a metal ring that wrapped around the corridor. It has cone rods that encircled and are embedded in the ring. Othello jumps through and gets electrocuted as most of the rods get activated and come toward the center of the ring. Talin pushes Tetranac through after giving him a Dex buff. It does not go off but we can now hear what sounds like high pressure liquid. The party heads down at a run and finds a fancy door with three locks. Othello finds that they have to be unlocked within a certain time of each other. He does this as water is pouring down the corridor. The door blow out into a wall of water and floats down out of sight. Talin sees a monstrous fish swim by. Gubikla manages to cast water breathing on the party from his spell book before the air bubble collapses. Now the question is why have a door that leads to the bottom of the lake and what should the party do now?

COD = Gulbikla for saving the party with water breathing?

Talin – Dwarf: Fighter (lvl 12) + Cleric (lvl 1) Othello – Gnome: Thief (lvl 14) Bone – Human: Fighter (lvl 14) Gubikla – Gnome: Wizard (lvl 13) Hammar – Dwarf: Cleric (lvl 11) Tetranac – Drow: Ranger (lvl 10) Cloverdung needs to expand to Isbils rest?
