Apparently the recalling back to Wyntbridge was all a illusion and we are still standing on the stairs heading to the metal plated landing that shoots lighting after a short warning or charging period. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The party dashes across the platform and jumps down the first three stairs trying or avoid prime numbered stairs and not being on the platform landing when the lighting goes off. \u00a0These stairs go down about the same distance as the other side. The party makes it to the bottom with Talin turning into a parit and then a giant frog as he encountered the colorful beams of light on two ot the stairs. \u00a0At the bottom of the stairs is a small landing light the other side. But instead of bones this one had about three inches of ash. The door has a large wheel handle like a bulkhead door of a ship. After checking for traps and proceeding in and spiking the door open. The party sees a four post bed with candles all around it. \u00a0A maiden\u2019s voice calls out to saver he. Her mom has locked her up in this place. Now the dwarf failing his inside check rushes over and cuts the chain holding her hands. Now the maiden instantly turns into a 18 foot demon with tiny wings. The bed and the candles disappear and are replaced by two columns with skulls floating on them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The party attacks the demon with Talin and Bone hitting it with their hammer and sword. \u00a0They seem to be taking some type of splash or proximity damage when they hit the demon. Othello shooting full six bolt clips manages to hit the demon on the second round. Gubikla was tossing spells at it trying to determine a good element to cause the most damage. \u00a0The demon summons a black vortex in the ceiling and flies up toward it. While casting a illusion causing Othello and Talin to believe there are now thousands of demons around us. This causes us to react in fear. Trying to carve out a spot around us to be safe. Luckily Bone and Gubikla were not affected and were able to finish off the demon. \u00a0The party investigates the columns with the floating skulls but finds nothing of interest except the skulls look to be some type of infernal beast. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Party takes a long rest with Bone and Othello keeping guard. \u00a0Talin ask for a second time if Gubikla could cast locate object. I don\u2019t have it I would have to go back to town before I could get it. \u00a0Gubikla tries to teleport us back to the surface but nothing happens and the party makes it way up the first set of stairs. The use of passwall to carve a passage over to the main stairs to avoid the lighting activating landing. \u00a0Once the party makes it back to the mausoleum section the teleport spell activates and bring us to the surface. With no sign of the Dragonborn or the Half-Orc. <\/span><\/p>\n

Once on the surface they party activates the jade puzzle in the other two directions. \u00a0The first leads to mouth looking door with spikes as teeth. The other direction opened to a hallway with a magical apparition that warns the party that only the chosen is worthy. \u00a0Bone says he is the chosen one and head into to the passageway. Othello spots a hidden pit trap that they avoid and the passageway comes to a T. He takes a right and it goes to a dead end. \u00a0There is another blurry section in front of the end the hallway. It looks like a shield type of shape behind it. Othello goes in to search for traps and other secrets. Has he goes up to the shield he turns to stone.<\/span><\/p>\n
