The party made it’s way to the top of one of the side hills and camped for the night.  It is snowing pretty heavy so Othello’s first watch was within the hut.  He heard some wolfs prowling around but did not see anything.  Tetranac and Bone took over for the second watch.  Tetranac hearing the wolves decided to venture out and see what he could.  He saw a large figure out a few feet from where he was when he discovered that there was one next to him.  Luckly it did not detect him and he made his way back to the camp and informed Bone.  Once he let Bone know he went back out and almost immediately got pounced on by two winter wolfs.  He stabbed the wolf on top of him with his dagger causing him to start bleeding.  Bone seeing the attack came to help Tetranac with his flaming sword.  A few rounds later they had killed of three wolfs.  They cleaned up and after the fight in time for the morning dawn.

Just after dawn the party headed toward the front door as there was no fog or mist to be seen.  As the party gets close to the door they notice that the urns are not there.  But just about that time they detect something invisible next to them.  Othello blinks up and tries to boots of reverbification to smash whatever it was.  He only managed to blink 90 feet into the air, before coming down causing damage to the invisible creature and his own party.  There was in fact three invisible creatures, one Hezrou and two Bebilths.  The Hezrou was near the front of the party and the two Bebilths were near the rear.  But due to them appearing amidst of the party members and attacking caused the two clerics to go down at different points during the battle.  First was Pete, who was first saved by Tetranac rushing in and healing him, with a potion chaser by Othello.  Hammar went down after banishing one of the Bebilths.  The Hezrou chased Gubikla around.  The last Bebilth destroyed Petes armor, by ripping it off him.  Talin and managed to bring the Hezrou back over near Bone, but Tetranac got the final shot killing it.  Unfortunately it also fell ontop of him.  The Bebilth was slain shortly after.  The party then gathered around the spot the other one was banished and killed it on it’s return.  The party badly beaten up was healed by Pete and went over to the door.  The party managed to get Phungal up on the building and searched around for the secret door.  They finally found it but could not figure out how to open it or what the password was.  Othello tried to open it and set off a safety trigger and heard what could only be block of stone sliding into place blocking the passage.  Othello just assume they heard the party and blocked the door from the inside.

After that there was talk about how to get in.  Could the clerics stone shape their way around or under the door?  It was determined that there was four mechanisms that needed to be used to unlock the door.  So more then likely two or three people needed to get inside to unlock the door.  Gubikla  scryed inside the door to see if he could dimension door in but found that there was a small army waiting  inside.  There was now a debate to find the landside and the map or force our way in.  It finally came to light that Phungal could get in the side door without the map and it was only a few hours away.  The party headed off and found the door.  Phungal opened it and lead the party inside.  He then said that he hoped they did not lock the inner door.  But the party was finally inside and in a fairly safe location decided to rest before going farther inside.

COD = Tetranac for saving Pete’s life letting the party survive the battle.
