The party lets Bone in to the lord’s bedroom.  The party is spread out across the room and hear a boom from high up in the mountain.  Gubikla scrys to see what the sound is coming from.   He sees some Chethrol with a battering ram and a Drud.  The Drud scenes the scry and shoot a flame blast of fire bolts through and Gubikla barely avoids it.  It is shortly after that, Othello feels a large presents disturb the air in the room.  He yells out that something here.  He gets bit and poisoned, losing a massive about of constitution.  Bone, Hammar, Randy, Mightychondria, and Talin rush in to attack the invisible beast.  Tetranac cast faerie fire on it lighting it up along with the the fighters that were trying to engage it.  This at least let us see the giant spider like creature.  Gubikla cast a fireball.  Othello manges to teleport to the top of it and grapple it.  The party manages to kill the spider like beast after a couple of rounds.

The party manages to open the secret door on the diace with the bed now burning.  The secret lead to a small passageway with stairs leading up.  The passageway is about four and a half feet wide and seven feet tall.   The made the party go up in single file.  Othello lead of the party sneaking and looking for traps.  It lead a landing and the stairs lead up to the left.  The landing had some kind of magic protection cast on it.  Othello carefully test it out and manages to get through but sees light beams cross the point of where he was standing be for make a dash for the other side.  The rest of the party manages to get across with different degree of beams spawning in the room.  Othello again head off up the stairs sneaking and searching.  The again lead to a landing with a suit of armor in the corner.  Othello tries to be agile and tumble across the room but manages to trip and land in front of the armor.  It is warm to the touch.  He scampers across.  Randy goes it to the room and commands the armor to let the party pass and tells Bone to come on in.  As soon as Bone steps into the room the armor swings and hits Randy.  This lead to a tight battle as only a couple of people could get into the room and swing.  Tetranac was shooting it between the small space between Randy and Bone.  Gubikla used spider climb to get around his companions that acted as obstacles.  Shooting acid orbs at the armor.  This is when Talin at the back of the line was like what is going on and shove forward.  This pushes Tetranac and Mightychondria into a squeezed room with the armor.  It is still trying to damage the people in the room.  Gubikla thinks it would be a good idea to put a invulnerability globe around it.  The sphere filled the room making the party crawl along the corners of the room to get to the other side.   The stair passageways look like it was circling a square center about sixty or more feet wide.  This landing had metal doors that look like they slide closed locking the person in.  The party makes it across till it was Gubikla’s turn.  As soon as he got in the room it lock the down and started heating up.  Gubikla as able to use a scroll of passwall to make it out the other side before it killed him.  Bone followed Gubikla’s path as it tried to lock him in as well.  This is when they finally decided to put Bone’s axe into a bag of holding and Gubikla would get into his hat of holding.  Holding his breath to make it across traps without triggering them.  The party eventually made it to the top.  Open another secret door that lead to a group of guards.  These guards were guarding the heart of the mountain.  Now we can place the beckon and hopefully rescue the Dwarves.

COD = Tetranac for using faerie fire and giving us a target to hit.
