Do Kavis & Cloverdung know Isbil and that is why they did not come?
Teleporting back to the surface reveals what appears to be fish all around the edge of the island. The party also see five flying creatures coming toward the island. Othello tells the party to take cover. The creatures are pterodactyl that are caring riders. Four of them land and two riders get off each of them, while one holds back. Gubikla cast fireball catching the four in the center and two of the pterodactyls. The pterodactyls don’t like it and fly off after the rider disembarked them. Tetranac shoot the two advancing from his side. Talin advances and takes one out near him. Bone does the same but tells them to surrender. Gubikla gets sneak attacked but manages to use a new magic hat to catch one of the daggers and turn it into a rabbit. Othello is climbing the northern column section of the tower and shoots the leader in the back. After a couple of rounds we manage to get two to surrender and find out that a Tiefling sorcerer hired them to get the staff. The leader then cast a lighting blast with four balls of lighting in a spread across the island and killed the two surrendering women fighters. The party hunts down the last two that appear to be rogues. But not before Othello got a dagger to the back. After searching the bodies without finding much but a tattoo under their left arms that no one knew the meaning of. This is when the Dwarf ask the mage if he could use locate object to find the staff. Gubikla was like Hey dwarf what does having to be in town to learn that spell don’t you understand.
The party the decides to activates the jade puzzle one more time with the center section being the last section to desind. This went down much farther then they did before and shows a force field above them that they have seemed to pass through. The open doorway to a small room. This room has a coat rack that could hold four cloaks. But there are only three. One white cloaks and a pair of boots. One green cloak and s pair of boots, and one brownish with gold and red tents and a pair of boots. The coat stand is magical as well and looks very ornate. Othello grabs the cloaks and then finds a door on the south wall that looks like the eight by eight room doors. This one has two button on the side one with a arrow pointing down and one pointing up. The party get in and after Tetranac summoned a large earth elemental to push the button to open the door. We go down for a while then we feel like we stop then go down some more. It opens up into hallway that has murals on both sides. This hallway ends with a door that has a T like switch and three rotating cylinders. The cylinders have colors on them and they are all set to black. But also have Red, Yellow, and Blue. The Dwarf says they really are Cyan, Magenta, and yellow. But that does not mean much to the Rock Gnome. Tring all of them set to red shoots lighting at the party. Tetranac thinking he would get the earth elemental to find out what was on the other side of the door tell the earth elemetal to walk through the stone. Thus the element wonders off through the side of the hallway never to be seen again. Talin and Othello study the mural thinking it might have some clues. We see Isibi fighting goblins, fighting wargs, fighting dragons, fighting spider like creatures with human bodies. We also see her talking to humans, dwarfs, and elfs. Among them are people that look familiar. One looks like Boris but with armor and a shield. One that looks like Glass in his giant Dwarven shape. One that looks like a Otter. The staff seems to be able to shoot fire, lighting, magic missile, and other spells. After not finding really any clues we get the mage to cast knock on the door and it seems to work. The three dials are now set to Blue, Blue, Red. With the lever at the beginning it spells LEET backwards if you go by the color position instead of the color itself. This leads to another small room that is layd out in small tile hexes. With it making out four color hexes with color running off each side. The room also has three other door in it one on each wall. Above the door are symbols. One looks like a fire. The other we think could be air, water, or earth?
Talin walk into the room and find that there are invisible creatures guarding it. With Tetranac casting fairy fire. We find that there are two. We fight the two invisible stalkers and end up killing them but Talin has taken some serious damage. Before they were defeated.
COD = Tetranac sending his element on a scouting mission in the wrong direction.
