Adventure 122 – On the road behind enemy lines

Talin – Dwarf: Fighter (lvl 12) + Cleric (lvl 2)
Othello – Gnome:  Thief (lvl 15)
Bone – Human: Fighter (lvl 15)
Gubikla – Gnome: Wizard (lvl 14)
Hammar – Dwarf: Cleric (lvl 12)
Tetranac – Drow: Ranger (lvl 11)

Is Kavis one of the people heading north across the road?

After the battle with the dragon the party gathers together and decides that frontal assault on the pass is going to be hard in the current conditions of the party.  There was thought of using passwall or meld stone to get Hammar into the inside the first wall. Can we summon a earth elemental to help break down the gate or act as a trojan elemental for Hammar to ride in.  Due to limited spells currently available. The party decides to rest on the road to get prepped to assault.

The party starts to rest and they hear rumbling coming down from road.  It turns out that the rumbling was caused by a siege tower getting pushed by a mastodon and two other mastodons with combat carriers on their backs. The party positions themselves to take on this company headed toward them.  Bone takes them on head long. Talin and Hammar took on the individual mastodons. Talin hits one giving it a shock that turns it to the side. He also was able to climb up the mastodon to take out the kobolds riding in the combat carrier on top of the mastodon.  Othello Shoots and teleports himself up into the air and uses his boots of reverberation to take out the siege tower with the brasitas. He plunges down several floors blasting the kobolds with debris. Gubikla about this time cast color spray at enemy. This causes the death of most that it hits.  It also hits Othello and turns him to stone. Tetranac is shooting a barrage of arrows killing several kolbals hidden in the tower. Bone hacked the wheels off the tower and killing off the one of the mastodon.

COD = Gubikla for casting color spray and taking out a majority of the kobols as well as Othello.
