Did Cloverdung create a hideout in the Highvail sewers?
Did Kavis get absorbed into one of the pudding worms?

Othello climbs down the crevasse into what appears to be the sewer passageway.  He sees that there is a rung ladder that leads up that is he think is where the manhole in the center of the intersection.  He yells up to the party and they climb down the manhole. On investigating the sewer passageway it seems really clean and clean water is flowing down the bottom of the eight foot wide round passageway.  The water runs from a few inches to a foot deep. The party also sees smaller holes near the top passageway every so often that connect.  On closer inspection the smaller pipes are clean several feet in but then you can see build up.  It looks like there are spiral scratches around the whole pipes and main passageway. Kinda like a gun barrel threads.  We decided to head toward the lake. Back the way we came just under the street. Talin notices that the passageway has just a slight upward slope to keep the water flowing.

Othello starts sneaking and scouting down the passageway.  Bone brings out his firefly bottle to light the path and heads after Othello not caring about the water.  Gubikla is following bone trying to keep his scrolls dry with Talin pulling rear guard duty and jumping back and forth from side to side to try and keep out of the water.  Othello hearing scratching sounds up ahead perseus the sound and finds a large creature that fills the passageway but is going about walking speed away from the party. He mark the wall to indicate that a monster is up ahead and continues to follow it.  He then comes to a intersection and fines another one heading toward him. He has to retreat before he is caught with it coming around the corner. He falls back and lets the party know of the creature. It has several phosphorescence spheres attached to stalks and a couple of tentacle out front.  Gubikla started trying out different types of elemental spells against the creature. Starting off with lighting.  Figuring out that cold will heal it. Talin figured out that it did not like divine as it moved away from the scarid flames.  Othello lost a returning bolt early on and followed Gubikla and used a lighting bolt. He then switched to more malee as he was running out of charges on the wand and it was hard not to catch someone in the blast. He tries out the sword that was picked up from the Dragonborn fight in the rocks and find it is a frost sword.  So that is no good against these things. He then tries a poison bladed dagger that really does not to much damage either.

After Bone and Gubikla killed the first one the party heads down and catches up with the original one that Othello was following.  Bone was doing a good job slicing it up when Othello managed to paralyze it. This turn out to be a good thing as a second one had approached from behind. The party turned to take on this new threat while Othello finished off the paralyzed one.  This time the party was able to recover a eye stalk from one of the monsters as it turned into a acidic pudding slush and was washed down the passageway. The party determined that the steam sounds that they were making was probably some type of speech or calls to the other creatures of it’s kind.  The passageway ended up at the edge of the lake with two ports slightly open letting water in to keep the water flowing down the passageway in the direction the party had come.

Now the choice needs to be made on what to do next.  This is also important as our mage Gubikla is out of spells.

COD = Othello for paralyzing one of the creatures.
